Verb Endings: Indicative Mood

Quick Reset: How do we know what "conjugation" a verb belongs to?

Remember, each Latin verbs belongs to only ONE conjugation! The way you can tell is by looking at the INFINITIVE (the 2nd Principal Part). Here's the way you can tell:
-āre = 1st Conjugation
-ēre = 2nd Conjugation
-ere = 3rd Conjugation
-īre = 4th Conjugation

Translation of Tenses

Present: I am walking
Imperfect: I was walking
Perfect: I walked
Future: I will walk
Pluperfect: I had walked
Future Perfect: I will have walked
